Kilt Pin
We were commissioned to forge a bespoke kilt pin to be worn by the groom at his wedding. The design was given to us by the client and is a glyph of the gentleman's surname initials "O'T". Forged from mild steel for the "T" and the apostrophe, and copper for the "O" and the small rivets, it has been hammered to create a textured appearance and has been patinated with copper sulphate to create a verdi gris turquoise finish on the copper to represent the colour of the gentleman's family tartan. |
Celebratory Easter Tree
This little tree was done for a private client who required a trimmed hazel tree with some leaves, catkins and disguised hooks to hang their collection of hand painted eggs for the celebrations.
The tree was also to be sculptural so that through the year the piece could be displayed as a piece of art in its own right.
The client supplied us with a picture of a sheet metal tree they liked the look of and a bespoke piece was designed around the concept and the design was agreed.
The height of the tree is around 75/80cm.

Dragon Wine Bottle Holder
This little chap was done for a private client with a real love for all things dragon. We were asked to come up with a design that would involve the dragon protectively cradling the bottle in its wings.
With a characterful face, this dragon has been hand forged from mild steel, texturised to create the pattern on the wings, burnished to emphasise the highlights then a coat of wax applied.

Tribal Napkin Rings
A great set of six tribal-inspired napkin rings. The inspiration behind these beautiful table adornments came from some of the designs and markings to be found carved on the tribal long houses of the Dayak hill tribes of Borneo.
The rings have been made of mild steel and embellished with a patinated rivet detail for added interest.

1/4 Scale Traditional Bed
This adorable 1/4 scale dolls bed was a bespoke commission to be given as a gift by the client. We were asked to provide a design for a frame that had an Art Deco/Rennie Mackintosh feel to it. It was made from sections of mild steel and finished with a black lacquer.
It was then fitted with period linen, including covered pillows & pillow cases, mattress cover and fitted sheet, covered quilt and duvet.

Fantasy Armour
This set of armour for the upper body was made for a client who does Live Action Role Play.
We were asked to make some armour that would be a big, bad and menacing addition to their costume.
This armour was made from mild steel, not spring steel, therefore it is not suited for actual war, but does the job it is intended for.
